Key Notes

The meeting took place over Yahoo IM from 0900 (PST;Zulu-8) to 1000.

Topics discussed included the development environment and priorities over the next few months.

Struts vs. JSF (IDE)

  • Jordane and Tapan don't know Struts , so raised it as dev environment issue
  • Tapan mentioned that there were lots of politics in the JSF v Struts debate
  • Deciding on one, as Felipe did, was a good idea - agreement
  • Jordane will discuss with Felipe
  • Jordane/Felipe will provide update on this issue and decide on IDE issues by Feb 6th

Screen Shots

  • Ben will take the lead and hand off some tasks to James
  • Tapan will provide his high priority list again (should be posted to MOAP wiki)
  • Early March for first set of four or so (for Jordane)
  • April 1st Due Date for all screen shots we identify

ERD

  • Entity Relationship Diagram (not ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, also a potential MOAP subject but not discussed.)
  • Tapan very firm that we need a solid one we can share outside and get reactions to it.
  • Feb 15th Due Date

Other

  • Jordane said he will be able to spend one week on Moap development in March.
  • Jordane is going to be in Taiwan soon and also volunteered to work on the Internationalization/Localization issues.
  • James and Tapan will be on Honduras in early Feb and can work on some things at that time.
  • MEDA MIS Expert (another Microcredit network) contacted Tapan and James and would be a good resource - has agreed to review ERD when ready.
